The essential goals of the A.L.M.A are :

• To contribute to the development of the rental market in furnished housing in Aix and the surrounding area. ,
• To promote standards of quality in the rentals it offers. ,
• To represent the owners of furnished rental housing in their dealings with government authorities.
• To facilitate direct contact between owners and potential tenants
• The rental property of the member must satisfy the standards of quality defined by the association. The applicant must adhere to the terms of the following charter

1. The applicant accepts that the proposed rental property (properties) will be subjected to a preliminary visit as well as to future inspections at intervals to be determined by the association.
2. The member agrees to maintain the same standards of cleanliness and comfort existing at the time of the aforementioned visits.
3. The member agrees to inform the association of any modification in the condition of the property or in the rental terms.
4. The member commits himself to not charging a higher price than that which is mentioned in the brochure or on the ALMA internet site.
5. The member will not rent through an intermediary.
6. The member agrees to respond to all requests for information. In the case that his unit is not available, he will inform potential renters of the existence of the A.L.M.A. and the possibilities offered by other members.
7. Any failure to honor the terms of his membership will result in his being excluded from the association. The excluded member will have no claim to reimbursement of his admission fee or his yearly dues.
8. The association will inform members of its action at regular intervals.
9. The association agrees to publish and distribute to potential renters at least one edition of its brochure each year, the quantities produced depending on the state of its funds.
